What do they require of me to rent a vehicle?
- Be an adult over 25 years of age.
- Valid Citizenship Card or Passport.
- Valid Driving License (National or Foreign).
- Credit Card as guarantee/deposit of the Rental Contract: Credit card with an available quota of $1,600,000 for cars and $3,000,000 pesos for trucks with 5 seats or references such as Tracker, Carens or SantaFe and $4,500,000 pesos for 7 seats or references like Sorento. 2 vouchers will be signed (Damage and Infringements). Both vouchers will be returned as long as the vehicle is delivered in the same initial conditions. A voucher will remain with the rental company for an additional 10 business days once the rental has ended due to possible violations. For deposit purposes (Only), Colombian credit cards issued by Falabella or Alkosto are NOT accepted.
Payment methods to pay the rent?
Payment for your vehicle rental can be made in cash, debit or credit card at the agency when you pick up the vehicle.
Important to keep in mind!
Guarantee/Deposit amount taken from the credit card: For deposit purposes, Colombian credit cards issued by Falabella or Alkosto are NOT accepted . The credit card limit is to guarantee the guarantee; this amount will remain frozen during the vehicle rental period. At the end of the service, the quota is requested to be unlocked from the corresponding franchise. This process takes 3 to 5 business days depending on the bank.
Credit cards NOT accepted for payment at the agency or creation of deposit : The rental company does NOT accept prepaid cards, virtual cards or any other type of card that does not have the numbers or embossed stamping for the creation of the guarantee. Own brand credit cards from any non-banking establishment, they are NOT accepted, unless they have global franchises such as VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Diners. Conditions and restrictions apply. Please refer to the rental company's policies directly.
