What do I need to rent a vehicle?
Be an adult over 23 years of age.
A valid Citizen ID or Passport.
A valid Driver's License (National or Foreign).
A credit card to guarantee the rental agreement's security deposit. This is formalized by signing two vouchers (damage and traffic tickets). For car and truck rentals, you must have an available balance of $2,000,000 pesos.
Payment Methods for the rental?
You can pay for your vehicle rental in cash, by debit card, or by credit card at the location when you pick up the vehicle.
Important to note:
Credit Card Security Limit/Deposit: The credit card limit is used to secure the security deposit. This amount will remain frozen for the duration of the vehicle rental. At the end of the service, the corresponding deductible will be released. This process takes 10 to 15 business days, depending on the bank.
Credit Cards NOT accepted for payment at the agency or deposit creation: The rental company does NOT accept prepaid, virtual, or any other type of card that does not have the numbers or embossing required to create a security deposit. Credit cards from any non-bank establishment are NOT accepted, except those with global deductibles such as VISA, Mastercard, American Express, or Diners. Conditions and restrictions apply.
