What are the requirements to rent a vehicle?
Be an adult over 21 years of age.
Valid National Identity Card or Passport.
Valid Driver's License (National or Foreign).
Credit Card as a guarantee/deposit for the Rental Agreement: Credit card (excluding Diners Club, Exito, and Falabella cards, as well as virtual and prepaid cards. Credit cards with variable CVV are not permitted) with an available credit limit of COP 2,600,000 for car rentals or COP 3,900,000 for SUVs, pickup trucks, and trucks.
What are the payment methods for the rental?
Your vehicle rental payment can be made by credit card (Diners, Exito, and Falabella cards are not accepted).
Important to note:
Security/Deposit Credit Card Credit: The credit card credit is used to guarantee the security deposit. This amount will remain frozen for the duration of the vehicle rental. At the end of the rental period, the credit card credit must be released from the corresponding bank, which takes approximately one week. Afterward, the release process takes 3 to 5 business days, depending on the bank.
Credit Cards NOT Accepted for Agency Payment or Deposit Creation: The rental company does NOT accept prepaid, virtual, or any other type of card that does not have the numbers or embossed designation required for the security deposit. Private label credit cards from any non-bank establishment are NOT accepted, unless they are part of major global networks such as VISA, Mastercard, or American Express. Terms and conditions apply.
